Our extra-curricular highlights
Debating and public speaking
Students can develop their thinking, communication and teamwork skills through debating and public speaking. They also have the chance to compete in local and state events.
Creative and performing arts
Our drama, music and art programs help students be creative and express themselves. They can join in concerts, art shows and drama activities.
Duke of Ed
The Duke of Edinburgh's Award (also known as the Duke of Ed) is a global youth development program that helps young people aged 14-24 build skills and confidence through a framework of non-formal education. Our students work to complete a personal program of activities across four sections: Voluntary Service, Skills, Physical Recreation, and an Adventurous Journey.
School Grounds Cafe
Open to seniors and staff, Wagga Wagga High School's School Grounds Cafe offers students practical skills such as teamwork, customer service, and financial literacy.
Chess
Our chess club operates during lunch, enabling our students to enhance their cognitive functions, including memory, focus, and problem-solving, while also developing emotional and social skills such as patience, sportsmanship, and creativity.
