Our principal and staff

Our school team is committed to every student’s learning, wellbeing and sense of belonging. We work together to create a supportive and inclusive school where every child is set up for success.

Welcome from our principal

Welcome to Wagga Wagga High School, proudly known as ‘the high school on the hill’. As the city’s longest-standing government high school, we offer a rich history and a strong commitment to preparing students for the future with a focus on learning, community values, and 21st-century skills.

Our school provides a broad curriculum for Years 7-12 and a wide range of extracurricular programs in academics, sports, music, cultural activities, and community service. We celebrate student achievements and encourage all to strive for personal excellence through our motto, ‘success through self-discipline.’

We value strong partnerships with parents, primary schools, and the wider community, embracing a diverse student body as a key strength.

At Wagga Wagga High, students are supported to engage, challenge themselves, and enjoy a vibrant school experience.

I am proud to lead Wagga Wagga High School and am confident that your child will greatly benefit from being part of our school community.

Mr Christopher Davies - Principal

Our school leaders

Our school leaders, including our principal, guide teachers and students. They help create a school culture where every child is supported to grow and thrive.

Our teaching staff

Your child’s school experience is shaped by the people around them. Our teachers bring experience, care and a passion for learning to every lesson. With a focus on success, they help every child reach their full potential. There are 13 Head Teachers responsible for the administration of their respective faculty areas. This includes the teaching within that area and the management of students within that faculty. Parents should feel confident in contacting Head Teachers about their child's performance in the faculty.
